The websites listed here are great resources for exploring colleges and deciding what is important to you. For students who are still trying to figure out what they want, the Counseling Center has a worksheet to help identify priorities.

Students can download the College Choice Worksheet (Available in Adobe PDFand Microsoft Excel) and the College Options Glossary (available in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Word) that goes with the worksheet and hopefully get a better idea of what they want in a school by answering some preliminary questions and reading about the various options. There is also a College Cost Worksheet (Available in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Excel) to help you keep track of the costs and deadlines associated with applying to college. There is a lot of work that goes into applying for college, so feel free to stop in if you have any questions.

FastWeb	Search colleges and scholarships, login required, links to 4000+ schools.
College Board	login required only if you want to save searches and create a college list, lots of search criteria, scholarship search, application help available.
My College Guide	Lots of information for those wondering what college will be like, but minimal search criteria on the college search.
Princeton Review	This is one of the most popular college searches with lots of search criteria, plus information gathered from students about each of the schools.
College View	login required for advanced search, regular search has minimal search criteria, career center link has valuable information about choosing a field and getting a job.
College Net	No login required, applications available to most schools, lots of search criteria, and you can sort by any field such as "lowest percentage of women" or "highest HS G.P.A." or "lowest out-of-state tuition".
Peterson's	No login required, links to test prep sites and admissions essay help, scholarship search requires login.
College Confidential	Great site for students wondering about and worrying about the college admissions process, especially those interested in highly competitive schools.
